KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary position starting January 2026This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a school that provides a nurturing and inclusive environment. • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons for KS1 pupils
• Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils where needed
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development
• Ensure safeguarding and behaviour policies are consistently upheld

Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with KS1 pupils is desirable
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
