Material Control and Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities of the Material Control and Warehouse Manager
- Lead and guide a team by delegating tasks effectively and ensuring an even distribution of workload.
- Oversee the operations of Goods Receiving, Inventory Management, and Dispatch.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers for shipments both domestically and internationally.
- Maintain detailed traceability records for all materials in compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
- Monitor and report on key logistics indicators, including receipt and dispatch volumes, kit shortages, and the accuracy of cycle counts.
- Ensure that all documentation and operational procedures are aligned with the Business Management System.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Production departments to address material issues and enhance service delivery.
- Support various projects and temporary tasks across departments as required.
Requirements of the Material Control and Warehouse Manager
- Extensive background in managing logistics within complex engineering environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively in demanding technical environments.
- Proficient in utilising MRP/ERP systems to streamline operations and ensure accurate inventory and order management.
- Practical, detail-oriented approach committed to achieving operational excellence and driving continuous process improvements.
- Highly organised.
