You will deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences.Duties as Maths and General Cover Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and other subjects across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to learning
• Uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards at all times

Ideal Maths and General Cover Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths and covering other subjects in secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage learners
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexible and resilient, with a commitment to inclusive education
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
