Job Title: Quality FAIR Inspector (6-Month Contract)
Location: Stevenage, UK – Onsite Role
Security Clearance: BPSS Required
Pay Rate: £30.00 – £35.00 per hour (via Umbrella Company)

Our client is a leading manufacturing business in the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors. They are seeking a Quality FAIR Inspector on a six-month onsite contract in Stevenage.

Primary Objectives of the Quality FAIR Inspector role:

• Completion of FAIRs to AS9102 requirements.

• Inspection and measurement of components.

• Facilitate creation of PFMEA, Control Plans, and ITPs.

• Interface with Design, Engineering, and Operations to ensure products meet approved design data.

• Check and review Supplier FAIRs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining the quality management system and implement corrective actions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, lean methods).

• Conduct audits, close findings, and maintain documentation in Qpulse.

• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective/preventive actions.

• Manage suppliers’ performance and support QA receiving inspection processes.

Essential Skills:

• FAIR / First Article Inspection experience.

• Proficient with measuring tools (digital callipers, micrometers).

• Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.

Desirable Skills:

• Internal auditing, root cause analysis, continuous improvement techniques, EASA Part 21 knowledge.
