Office Administrator (On‑site) – Heysham

Salary: £25,500 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday 

Role Overview

We’re partnering with a well‑established manufacturer supplying customers across multiple industries. They’re seeking a proactive Office Administrator to be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day office operations. If you enjoy problem‑solving, keeping things organised, and supporting a busy team, this role will suit you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front‑office coordination: Handle incoming calls and emails; liaise professionally with customers and suppliers.
  • Data & records management: Maintain accurate databases, logs, and documentation; ensure information is current and accessible.
  • Team support & scheduling: Arrange meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate internal updates so people are in the right place at the right time.
  • Office standards: Keep the workspace professional, tidy, and well‑stocked; streamline small processes to improve efficiency.
Skills & Experience
  • Administrative background: 1 year experience in an office administration or coordinator role.
  • Systems proficiency: Confident with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail: Accurate, organised, and able to prioritise in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Mindset: Positive, “can‑do” attitude with strong customer service skills.
  • Driving & commute: Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to the Heysham site.

Location & Working Pattern
  • Site‑based in Heysham.
