Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE per annum

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Orion Electrotech are working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. And we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who has experience working with Inventor 3D.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design of aircraft refuelling vehicles and equipment
• Creation of engineering proposals
• Creation of tender documentation
• BOM creation
• 2D & 3D CAD design using Inventor
• Stake holder management
• Client liaison
• Cradle to grave project management

 Mechanical Design Engineer Required Experience:

• Minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in a design role in a fast-paced manufacturing company
• Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor& Autodesk Vault
• Understanding of sheet metal, fabrication GD&T and fluid dynamics
• Understanding and experience designing pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience creating BOM and component selection
