Junior Design Engineer

Location: Local to Shrewsbury area

Orion are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Junior Design Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior CAD Engineer to be able to grow and develop their design career.

Junior Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Take concept design and make modifications to spec using Solidworks
• Assist in the creation of instruction manuals & technical documentation
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Support cross departmental team with design modifications
• Maintain ERP Systems

Junior Design Engineer Qualifications & Experience:

• HNC/HND or degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Must have experience using SolidWorks
• Ideally has experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawing.
• Strong communication skills and team player mentality
• Motivated to progress career in design
• Understanding/previous experience with ERP system.

Junior Design Engineer Shifts: Monday – Friday core office hours with early finish on a Friday
