CONTRACT ROLE

Location: Evesham
Rate: £40 per hour (Outside IR35)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days)
Contract Length: 3 months rolling

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with strong experience in the food manufacturing sector to work in a fast-paced environment.

• As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Familiarity with automated packaging machinery.
