Internal Account Manager – Account Growth & Relationship Sales

Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 Bonus Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time On-site

The Role – Internal Account Manager

As an Internal Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of customers. This is a proactive, commercially focused role centred on account development, customer retention, and long-term relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts

  • Reignite dormant accounts and identify new revenue opportunities

  • Upsell and cross-sell within established client relationships

  • Proactively follow up on warm enquiries and inbound leads

  • Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email

  • Prepare tailored quotations and maintain accurate CRM records

  • Liaise with purchasing to ensure product availability

  • Produce clear sales reports for management

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in sales, account management, or business development

  • Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers by phone

  • Strong relationship builder with a commercial mindset

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and well organised

  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
