Quantity Surveyor – Recladding / Social Housing

Tier One Main Contractor
Location: Dartford
Salary: Up to £65,000 Benefits

A leading tier one main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dartford, working on recladding and external refurbishment projects within the social housing sector.

This role offers long-term stability, exposure to large-scale frameworks, and excellent career progression within a well-established and highly respected contractor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial management of recladding and façade projects

  • Cost control, forecasting, and reporting

  • Procurement and management of subcontractors

  • Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts

  • Liaising with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners

  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor

  • Experience within recladding, façades, or social housing is desirable

  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a project team
