Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 £45,000 per year

Location: Farnham

Job Type: Permanent

Were looking for a versatile and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering environment. Youll play a key role in keeping production equipment and CNC machinery running smoothly across multiple local sites, while also handling general facilities maintenance and PLC fault finding.

As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on CNC machines and other production equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime
• Implement preventive maintenance plans and keep accurate records
• Undertake basic building maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
• Work on PLC fault finding and control systems
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Liaise with external contractors for specialist repairs

The successful Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the below skills & experience:

• Time-served apprenticeship and HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
• Proven experience maintaining CNC machinery and production equipment
• Strong PLC fault-finding skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Driving licence (essential)
