We’re looking for a commercially astute Estimating Manager to take ownership of the estimating function within a specialist manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing

As Estimating Manager, you’ll be responsible for far more than just pricing:

• Lead and develop the estimating team, setting standards, priorities, and best practices

• Own the estimating process from bid review through to final submission

• Work closely with Sales, Design, Production, and Project teams to ensure alignment from bid to delivery

• Oversee supplier and subcontractor pricing, negotiations, and benchmarking

• Identify and manage commercial and technical risk, including compliance with industry standard 

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll likely be someone who:

• Has strong experience in estimating within the building, construction, or fabrication sector

• Is confident leading or mentoring others and taking ownership of outcomes

• Understands UK building/construction regulations and tendering processes inside out

• Is highly analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable making decisions

• Can communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
