Fire Alarm Engineer – Mobile (London) Up to £45,000 Van Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a leading fire and security service provider, working across commercial sites in and around London. This is a mobile role covering London postcodes, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance.

Role Responsibilities
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing of fire alarm systems
• Reactive maintenance, fault finding and emergency call-outs
• Installation and minor remedial works when required
• Testing, inspection and commissioning support
• Ensuring compliance with BS5839 and client standards
• Completing job sheets, compliance paperwork and digital reporting
• Working across commercial buildings, offices, retail, education and mixed-use sites

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (PPM, servicing and fault finding)
• Strong working knowledge of major fire alarm panels
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding abilities and good customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile role across London

Qualifications (Essential/Preferred)
• FIA Units (preferred: 1, 4 and 5)
• City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical or Fire Systems (advantageous)
• Knowledge of BS5839
• ECS or CSCS card (advantageous)
