Management Accountant - AAT Studier

Are you an experienced Management Accountant who thrives on variety and enjoys working across multiple businesses? We’re looking for a proactive finance professional to join a dynamic accountancy team, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as an outsourced accounts function for several organisations.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, variance analysis).
• Handle month-end processes: journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations.
• Deliver insightful financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts with clear commentary.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and advise clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and provide ongoing support.
• Assist with VAT returns, year-end accounts, and onboarding new clients.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant (practice or outsourced environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and month-end routines.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Xero and/or Sage 50 is a big plus.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities.
