Static M&E Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £45,000 per annum
Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a technically strong, hands-on M&E Maintenance Engineer to join a high-end commercial site based in Mayfair. This role requires someone confident in both mechanical and electrical systems who can independently manage plant equipment without relying on external call-outs for basic issues.

This is a static, Monday–Friday position working directly on-site with a client who values proactive maintenance, strong technical capability and a willingness to get involved in general building fabric work when required.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant
• Diagnose and resolve faults on HVAC, pumps, valves, AHUs, FCUs, lighting, power systems and basic plumbing
• Manage minor fabric repairs when needed
• Reduce reliance on external contractors by resolving day-to-day technical issues on-site
• Support compliance tasks, record keeping and site documentation
• Liaise with Facilities and Building Management teams
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain site standards

Requirements
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background (FM environment preferred)
• Experience with plant rooms, pumps, motors, HVAC equipment, electrical distribution and general building services
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the site’s technical maintenance
• Basic plumbing and general fabric skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, 17th/18th Edition, etc.)

Package
• £45,000 basic salary
• Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
