Location: Aston Clinton
Salary: £32,000- £36,000 Bonus (up to 7.5%, split 50/50 between individual and company performance)
Shift: Nights (11:00 PM – 5:00 AM) Monday - Thursday.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee night operations at our site. This is a critical leadership role where you will manage a team of 5, ensure smooth blending processes, and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). For 6 hours of your shift, you will be the sole point of responsibility on-site, requiring strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will set the standard for operational excellence and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the blending team, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance.
- Oversee production activities during night shifts, supporting across departments as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments, implement preventative measures, and manage handovers effectively.
- Apply logical processes to resolve issues, including contamination scenarios and bulk salvage.
- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, focusing on solutions rather than problems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to GMP and safety standards.
- Manage team performance, including 1:1s, absence management, and development plans.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- Previous leadership experience managing teams of 5 in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP (preferred) or experience in highly regulated industries such as food, aerospace, pharmaceutical, or similar compliance-driven sectors.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and proactive mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal English).
- Ability to manage diverse personalities and set high standards for performance.
