• Provide one-to-one support for a Year 6 pupil with an EHCP for Moderate Learning Difficulties until the end of the academic year
• Support a Year 5 pupil until the regular TA returns from sick leave
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual needs
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with the SENCO and teaching staff
• Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils

Ideal SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting
• Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties
• Ability to build positive relationships and encourage independence
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
