Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Facades & Cladding
Dartford Up to £45,000 package

We are working with a tier one main contractor to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their facades and cladding division based in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing, well-established commercial team delivering complex, high-value projects across London and the South East.

The Role
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of façade and cladding packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with senior surveyors and project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with cost control, forecasting, and reporting

• Supporting the procurement and management of subcontractors

• Preparing valuations, variations, and payment applications

• Assisting with interim and final accounts

• Working closely with site and design teams to ensure commercial compliance

About You

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be ideal

• Experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor (facades/cladding experience advantageous but not essential)

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Ambitious, driven, and keen to progress within a tier one environment

• Excellent communication and team-working skills
