Position Type: Full-Time In-Person
A client is currently expanding their event sales and promotions team in the Brownsville, TX area and is seeking Events Assistants to support live campaigns, pop-up events, and customer engagement initiatives.
This opportunity is well suited to candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, nightlife, retail, or other fast-paced, customer-facing roles who are looking to transition into a more structured, growth-oriented position within event sales and promotions.
No prior events or sales experience is required. Many successful candidates have previously worked as servers, bartenders, retail associates, or in customer service roles, where strong communication, organization, and people skills are developed naturally.
Role OverviewEvents Assistants work closely with an on-site events team to support promotional campaigns from setup through execution. Responsibilities may vary by campaign but typically include:
- Assisting with the setup, presentation, and breakdown of promotional displays and event stands
- Engaging with customers in a professional and approachable manner at live events and pop-up locations
- Providing clear information about products, services, or campaigns being promoted
- Supporting on-site sales activity, sign-ups, or point-of-sale interactions where applicable
- Maintaining a positive event environment while ensuring company standards and performance goals are met
- Communicating directly with customers to build trust and encourage participation
This is an active, in-person role based at scheduled events throughout the Brownsville area.

This position offers weekly pay, structured as a combination of base pay, performance bonuses, and commission. Average weekly earnings currently range between 750–900, based on campaign type, schedule, and individual performance. Earnings are not guaranteed and vary depending on client programs and results.
