You’ll be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Feltham and the surrounding areas, ensuring they receive tailored support to thrive academically and socially.Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
• Support pupils with personal care needs where required
• Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents

Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties)
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development
