Call Handler – Finsbury Park
£16.22 per hour (Umbrella)
Immediate Start
Basic DBS Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP) Required

We are currently recruiting for a Call Handler to join a busy maintenance and repairs team based in Finsbury Park. This role involves supporting tenants, logging repairs, allocating jobs to engineers and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process.

This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone with strong communication skills, good attention to detail and previous experience in a call-handling or repairs environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Answer inbound calls from tenants regarding repairs and maintenance issues
• Log all jobs accurately onto the internal system
• Allocate work to engineers based on availability and priority
• Update job notes, schedules and follow-on works when required
• Handle urgent repairs, rescheduling and tenant queries
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Liaise with supervisors, planners and operatives to support workflow

Requirements
• Previous call handling or customer service experience (repairs/social housing experience preferred)
• Must hold Asbestos Awareness training – UKATA or IATP
• Basic DBS required (or willing to complete before starting)
• Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
• Good IT and administrative abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing tasks
