• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task
• Deliver pre-prepared Maths lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils with queries and encourage participation
• Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and any issues
• Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils

Ideal Maths Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups
• Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to supporting learning
