A large, welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Merton is seeking a qualified Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Role

The successful candidate will take on full class teaching responsibilities within Key Stage 2. Pupils are well settled and motivated, and the role offers the opportunity to support their academic progress and preparation for the next stage of their education.

You will work closely with the KS2 year group team and senior leaders, with planning and resources already in place. The class may include pupils with Special Educational Needs, and you will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants where appropriate.

The role requires effective classroom management, the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, and confidence in delivering engaging lessons that meet the expectations of the KS2 curriculum and assessment framework.

Person Specification

The school welcomes applications from qualified Primary Teachers with previous KS2 teaching experience. A secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements is essential, along with a positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching.
