Year 2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from February 2026

• Plan and deliver engaging and age‑appropriate lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum
• Support pupils in developing core literacy and numeracy skills
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive classroom routines
• Contribute to team planning and share best practice
• Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Year 2 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage, motivate, and support pupils of differing abilities
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Reflective, proactive, and committed approach to teaching
• Dedication to supporting academic and emotional development
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
