North London Home-Based with Site Visits
Up to £70,000 Package
We are working in partnership with a highly reputable property services contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their growing social housing division.
This is a home-based role, with visits to sites across London, offering a strong mix of flexibility and project exposure. The successful candidate will work primarily on reactive maintenance contracts, alongside elements of planned refurbishment works within occupied social housing.
Key Responsibilities:Commercial management of social housing refurbishment contracts
Managing costs, valuations, variations and final accounts
Working closely with operational teams to ensure financial control across reactive and planned maintenance works
Preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports
Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing refurbishment / maintenance
Strong knowledge of the NHF Schedule of Rates (essential)
Solid working knowledge of financial reporting and cost control
Experience covering reactive maintenance contracts, with some planned works exposure
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Full UK driving licence
Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience
