SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible

- Support pupils with SEND needs across the school
- Provide full-time targeted support for pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Assist with lesson delivery and reinforce key learning tasks
- Follow behaviour and support plans to promote emotional regulation
- Work flexibly and adapt to support different year groups when required
- Collaborate with teachers and additional adults to maintain consistent routines
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil well‑being
- Strong SEND experience is essential
- Confident supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Able to remain calm, patient, and consistent in challenging situations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, resilient, and adaptable when supporting different age groups
- Able to follow guidance from teachers and SEN staff
- Reliable, positive, and committed to supporting pupil development
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
