SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible

• Support pupils with SEND needs across the school
• Provide full-time targeted support for pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Assist with lesson delivery and reinforce key learning tasks
• Follow behaviour and support plans to promote emotional regulation
• Work flexibly and adapt to support different year groups when required
• Collaborate with teachers and additional adults to maintain consistent routines
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil well‑being

Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Strong SEND experience is essential
• Confident supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
• Able to remain calm, patient, and consistent in challenging situations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
