Job Title: Business Development Manager – Signage

Location: Hybrid - Berkshire

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE company car performance bonus

 

The company is an established and respected signage business, known for delivering high-quality visual solutions to a diverse client base. As part of continued growth, the business is now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to strengthen its commercial capability and support future expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a signage sales professional who understands the market and is confident developing new relationships while working closely with internal production teams.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning new business and developing client relationships across signage and related visual communication solutions. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, is commercially driven, and understands the importance of delivering solutions that align with both creative and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the signage market
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work closely with design, project management, and production teams
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order placement
  • Represent the business professionally with clients and partners
  • Contribute to ongoing growth and market presence

Products & Services

  • Signage solutions (internal and external)
  • Large-format graphics
  • Bespoke and branded visual displays
  • Project-based signage work across multiple sectors

The candidate

  • Proven experience in signage and/or large-format graphics sales
  • Confident generating new business and developing accounts
  • Strong understanding of signage products, materials, and processes
  • Commercially aware with a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience selling signage / large format

 

It is important to note that this won’t always be an 8-5 job, the successful candidate will take a flexible approach to the role, acknowledging that they will get out of it what they put in.
