Conveyancing Solicitor (Minimum 3 Years PQE)

Location: Harrow

We are working with a well-established law firm in Harrow who are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing property team.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, with some exposure to light commercial property work. You will be client-facing, hands-on and supported by an experienced team, delivering a high standard of service throughout the transaction process.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

    • Remortgages and transfers of equity

    • New build and Help to Buy transactions

  • Handle light commercial property matters, such as:

    • Leases for small retail units or office premises

    • Commercial sales or purchases (typically under £1m)

  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and associated documentation

  • Carry out title investigations and raise/respond to enquiries

  • Liaise closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters

  • Provide regular updates to clients and manage expectations throughout the conveyancing process

  • Deal with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

  • Ensure compliance with CQS, AML and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate records using case management systems and digital conveyancing tools


Skills & Experience Required
  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing

  • Proven experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently

  • Exposure to light commercial property work is advantageous but not essential

  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures

  • Excellent communication and client care skills

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
