Orion Electrotech is proud to be working in partnership with an innovative and growing engineering business based in Morecambe. They are looking to recruit a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join their expanding team.

This role would suit someone practical and mechanically minded, including junior candidates or individuals with hands-on experience from hobbies such as car maintenance, DIY projects, or general mechanical tinkering.

• Installation of ancillary equipment
• Working with basic hand-pump systems and 3-phase electrical installations
• Carrying out basic soldering and wire assembly
• Reading and working from wiring diagrams
• Supporting both the mechanical and electrical build of engineered systems

• Confident using a variety of hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.)
• Ideally have your own tools (financial support available if required)
• Background in plumbing, mechanical, or electrical work is beneficial
• Experience with wiring is highly advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams is desirable
