Year 2/3 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role with potential to become permanent from April 2026

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a mixed Year 2/3 class
• Support pupils in developing key literacy and numeracy skills
• Use phonics knowledge to support early reading development
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behaviour
• Adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1 or KS2
• Confident delivering phonics‑based learning
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of differing abilities
• Good organisational and communication abilities
• Proactive, reflective, and committed to pupil progress
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
