Location: Swindon

We’re looking to bring in a skilled Welder to replace a long‑serving team member retiring in March. This is a hands‑on role with a strong machining element, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being the go‑to engineer on site.

You’ll be working within a tight‑knit team of four and supporting a mix of welding, fabrication, and manual machining tasks.

• Manual machining using manual lathes and manual mills

• TIG welding of stainless steel (training available if needed)

• Occasional brazing and general fabrication work

• Producing accurate, high‑quality components for internal use

• Working closely with a small, supportive engineering team

• Essential: Manual machining experience

• Desirable: Any welding experience (TIG is ideal but not essential)

• Confidence working as the sole machinist on site

• A practical, adaptable engineer with a willingness to learn and upskill

• £43,000 – £46,000 salary

• 9‑day fortnight (07:30 – 16:20)

• 25 days holiday bank holidays
