SEND Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting February 2026

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEND learners
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning and developmental needs
- Support pupils through calm, structured routines that aid regulation and engagement
- Work collaboratively with support staff to deliver consistent strategies
- Monitor pupil progress and provide clear verbal feedback
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to planning and assessment within the wider team
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching SEND pupils
- Strong understanding of SEND strategies and adaptive teaching
- Calm, patient approach and confident managing diverse needs
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and support pupils with varied abilities
- Proactive, reflective, and committed to high‑quality SEND practice
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
