Location: Oxfordshire (must live within a 1-hour commute)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Annual Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum
Benefits: Company van and fuel card
Hours: 42.5 per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)
About the Role
We are expanding our Maintenance Officer team to support the delivery of high-quality services across Oxford key worker and student accommodation sites. This role focuses on compliance, minor repairs, and general site support.
Day-to-Day Duties
Carrying out compliance checks, including meter readings, flushing void properties, and minor remedial works
Completing small reactive repairs (typically 15 minutes or less) across key worker and student accommodation
Moving items and materials between sites as required, supporting property managers
Ensuring all compliance requirements for key worker and student properties are met
Delivering excellent customer care and maintaining high service standards at all times
Role Criteria
Essential
Previous experience as a Handyperson, Maintenance Officer, or Site Maintenance Operative
Experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and general repairs
Previous experience working within social housing
Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 points
Ability to provide own tools (company van and uniform provided)
Good level of physical fitness
Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach to work
Desirable
Experience completing compliance checks, such as water meter readings, flushing void properties, and electric meter checks
