Location: Ealing
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Annual Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum
Benefits: Company van and fuel card
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)


About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and qualified Electrician to join a growing team in Ealing, working across a mix of occupied and void domestic properties. This is a field-based role covering reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and installation works.

You will play a key role in ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready for residents, supporting both day-to-day maintenance and wider refurbishment projects. With a strong and consistent workload, this is a great opportunity to secure long-term employment within a supportive and well-established organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive electrical repairs including lighting circuits, sockets, fuse boards, and general electrical systems

  • Inspect, test, and certify electrical installations to ensure compliance with regulations

  • Repair or replace faulty components such as switches, outlets, light fittings, and circuit breakers

  • Undertake installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance across domestic properties

  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets

  • Communicate clearly with residents, explaining repairs and outcomes

  • Ensure work areas are left clean, safe, and tidy upon completion

  • Use relevant IT systems or handheld devices to manage and prioritise workload

  • Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in out-of-hours work when required

  • Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and procedures

  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer care


Role Criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (including AM2)

  • City & Guilds 18th Edition (17th Edition considered if working towards 18th)

  • Previous experience working in domestic or social housing environments

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

To drive a company vehicle, candidates must be 21 or over, have held a licence for at least 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
