General Science Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Science lessons following provided plans
• Teach practical and theory-based content safely and effectively
• Support students in developing scientific understanding and investigative skills
• Manage behaviour appropriately in line with school policies
• Assess and record pupil progress when required
• Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with varying needs
• Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
• Adaptable across various school environments
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
