Permanent – Full Time – 42.5 Hours

We are looking to recruit two Electricians to join our repairs and maintenance team working across properties within the Waltham Forest area including parts of Essex.


About the Role

Working to deliver the highest quality service, you will undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, carrying out fault finding, reactive repairs, inspection & testing, and installation works within social housing properties.

The successful candidate will have experience in social housing repairs, be confident using a handheld device, and have the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively.

There is an out-of-hours rota available (not mandatory) which offers significant additional earning potential. Engineers participating in the rota can earn approximately £350 – £2,000 per week depending on call-out volume.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

You will hold one of the following:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation – Buildings & Structures)

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment

  • City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2

  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

  • Electrical Installations BS7671 (18th Edition)

  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent

  • ECS Gold Card

You must also hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months) as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
