Maths Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Pupils respond well to purposeful lessons that support curiosity, engagement, and personal development.Duties as Maths Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons with no planning or marking required
  • Teach across relevant year groups using pre‑prepared materials
  • Support pupils in developing numeracy, problem‑solving, and reasoning skills
  • Maintain positive behaviour routines and a calm classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
  • Contribute to departmental consistency and effective delivery
  • Provide verbal feedback to support pupil progress
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Maths Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths
  • Strong subject knowledge at secondary level
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
  • Good communication and organisational abilities
  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil success
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
