You will be supporting pupils in Witney and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging Physical Education lessons across a range of sports and activities.Duties as PE Teacher:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons following provided plans
• Lead practical sports sessions safely indoors and outdoors
• Promote teamwork, physical fitness, and positive attitudes to sport
• Support participation and confidence across all ability levels
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Encourage resilience, cooperation, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Contribute to extracurricular sports activities when required
• Assess and record pupil progress where needed

Ideal PE Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and sports science
• Confident leading practical lessons in varied environments
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Able to motivate and inspire students of mixed abilities
• Adaptable across different school settings and year groups
• Professional, organised, and committed to high‑quality teaching
