If you’re an electrically biased maintenance engineer who enjoys the pace of high-speed production but values work-life balance, this could be the move for you.

This is a modern, well-invested food manufacturing site with strong order books, consistent investment, and clear plans for growth.

You’ll be keeping production running — simple as that.

From fast-moving packaging lines to processing equipment, you’ll be:

• Fault finding on conveyors, checkweighers, slicers and automated machinery

• Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns

• Supporting upgrades and improvement projects

• Working to BRC and food safety standards

This isn’t just firefighting. They want engineers who can spot issues early and drive reliability.

Double Days rotation:

• Week 1: 05:30 – 14:00

• Week 2: 13:30 – 22:00

Plus one mandatory Saturday every four weeks — paid at a premium rate, boosting your earnings comfortably above £48k.

No nights. No permanent weekends.

• Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience in FMCG, food, or high-speed manufacturing

• Confident fault finding and ability to read electrical drawings

• Basic PLC fault finding (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.)

• Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet

• £45,000 basic salary

• Predictable, paid overtime
