KS1/2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Pupils respond well to purposeful lessons that promote curiosity, independence, and positive academic and personal development.Duties as KS1/2 Teacher:

Pupils respond well to purposeful lessons that promote curiosity, independence, and positive academic and personal development.Duties as KS1/2 Teacher:
- Teach KS1/2 classes full time and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons
- Contribute fully to planning, staff meetings, and writing pupil reports
- Make adaptations to planning where appropriate while statutory PPA is provided
- Support pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and wider subject knowledge
- Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
- Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs, including SEN
- Assess progress and provide clear constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil well‑being
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience and a strong track record of high‑quality KS1 and KS2 teaching
- Confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong organisational and communication abilities
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
