£47,000 equivalent (Hourly – Umbrella or PAYE options available)

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile corporate site in London. This is a days-only position working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with no Sunday working required.

The role is offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of August 2026, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant
• Working on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and associated building services equipment
• Supporting basic water hygiene tasks in line with L8 guidelines
• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to the corporate environment
• Completing compliance paperwork and maintaining accurate site records
• Working closely with on-site teams to maintain high standards of service delivery

Requirements:
• Strong mechanical maintenance background within commercial or corporate environments
• L8 Water Hygiene Awareness – essential
• Asbestos Awareness – required
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check
• Professional approach suited to a corporate setting
• Available to start immediately

Package:
• Equivalent to £47,000 per annum
• Paid hourly (Umbrella or PAYE options available)
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
• Days only, 7am–7pm
• No Sunday working
• Long-term contract with potential for permanent opportunity
