Accounts Assistant

Our client specialises in the supply of bespoke accommodation and sources hotels and apartments, both short and long term let based in London.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time Accounts Assistant based in London. (office)

You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be presentable, a good communicator and have high levels of attention to detail.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in raising sales invoices on a regular basis.
  • Regular database/booking system reconciliations.
  • Credit control and aged debtor reports.
  • Assisting in processing and reconciling purchase invoices.
  • Assist in weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile company credit card expenditure.
  • Reconcile company and director petty cash receipts.
  • Ad-hoc filing and administrative work.
  • Any other ad hoc duties, which may arise or be requested as directed

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Experience within an accounts team or similar.
  • An AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier.
  • Sage Line 50 Accounts experience.
  • Intermediate skill level on Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
  • Warm and engaging telephone etiquette.
  • The ability to produce consistently accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to "switch gears" due to seasonal work load.
  • Confidence to be able to liaise with staff at all levels to resolve queries and questions

 

Additional Information:

Monday to Friday - 09:00 – 17:30 - Based on Site 5 days a week
