Stores Operative

Pay: Up to £30,000 per annum

Full time - Permanent - Onsite

ReeVR Talent are looking for a Stores Operative to join our clients fast paced manufacturing facility. As the Stores Operative you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking and issuing materials accurately while supporting the Planning and Purchasing teams and maintaining stock control.

Key Responsibilities for the Stores Operative:

  • Receive and record materials accurately into the stock system (MRP).
  • Pick and issue materials to manufacturing in line with daily schedules.
  • Check goods for damage and ensure batch/lot/serial numbers are recorded.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and carry out regular stock checks.
  • Keep the stores area clean, organised, and well managed.
  • Complete paperwork according to procedures.
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams to resolve queries.
  • Safely load and unload deliveries using approved equipment.
  • Support warehouse improvement projects and general operations tasks.

Skills and Experience for the Stores Operative:

  • Experience using stock management or MRP systems.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse processes and stock control.
  • A disciplined and accurate approach to work.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
  • Materials handling qualification or proven experience (desirable).
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
