SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

- Provide full-time support for mixed-age pupils within the ARP
- Support pupils with a range of high‑functioning SEND needs
- Assist with emotional regulation and social development
- Work with small groups and 1:1 to reinforce learning
- Follow consistent routines and implement support and behaviour plans
- Collaborate with teachers and additional adults to maintain a calm environment
- Adapt approaches to meet varied learning, communication, and sensory needs
- Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting SEND pupils in an educational setting
- Confident working with high‑functioning SEND and mixed-age groups
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification desirable, but experience is essential
- Calm, patient, and consistent approach, especially when challenges arise
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to respond to varied pupil needs
- Resilient and committed to supporting pupil development
