Spanish Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year

Pupils respond well to purposeful lessons that encourage curiosity, resilience, and steady academic progress across the curriculum.Duties as Spanish Teacher:
  • Teach Spanish across relevant year groups using planned schemes of work
  • Deliver engaging lessons that support language acquisition and cultural understanding
  • Maintain consistent behaviour expectations and create a calm classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
  • Provide clear verbal feedback to pupils to support progress
  • Contribute to departmental consistency and collaborative practice
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil well‑being
Ideal Spanish Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Spanish
  • Strong subject knowledge with confident delivery at secondary level
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners of mixed abilities
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil outcomes
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
