Job Description:
Job Title: Machine Operative
Location: Abingdon
Rate: £18 per hour PAYE
Job Type: 6 – 12 month contract
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1x30 min lunch, 2x15 breaks) – 40 hours
Please note: Hours will be changing to rotational shift so all applicants need to be able to work 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm
The role of Machine Operative will include:
- Working within a cleanroom environment
- Loading, setting and operating bespoke machinery
- Working under microscope
- Checking quality and carrying out tests on the final product, ensuring it is to the customers requirements
The Machine Operative should have the following skills and experience:
- Experience working within a cleanroom environment is desirable
- Previous experience operating complex bespoke machinery is essential
- Able to follow instructions and have good attention to detail
- Reliable and good work ethic
