High Level Teaching Assistant – Full-time, temp-to-perm role starting as soon as possible

- Provide high‑quality support to teachers across different classes and subjects
- Lead small groups and deliver planned learning activities
- Offer targeted support to individual pupils, including those with SEND
- Assist with planning and preparation of learning materials
- Maintain positive behaviour and consistent routines
- Support assessment processes and contribute to pupil progress notes
- Supervise classes during teacher absence where required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
- Prior experience working in a school setting is essential
- HLTA status or relevant TA qualifications beneficial
- Confident leading groups and delivering pre‑planned learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Effective behaviour management and ability to motivate pupils
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to use initiative
- Reliable, organised, and committed to supporting pupil progress
