You will be supporting pupils in Banbury and the surrounding areas, delivering motivating and high‑quality Maths lessons across Key Stages.Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons following provided plans
• Teach a broad range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics
• Support pupils in developing problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners with varied abilities
• Assess and record pupil progress where required
• Maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment
• Contribute to department planning during longer‑term placements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to promote consistent learning

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
• Adaptable across a range of school environments
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
