Cutting Table / Large Format Print Engineer

A long-established and highly regarded provider of large format print and finishing solutions is seeking an experienced Cutting Table / Large Format Print Engineer to join its expanding service team.

With over 30 years in the industry, the company has built an outstanding reputation supporting some of the print sector’s most recognised brands.

This is a field-based role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of large format print equipment and digital cutting tables. You will work across a range of leading manufacturers including Zünd, Kongsberg, Océ, Fujifilm, EFI, Agfa, HP and others, so previous exposure to cutting tables, flatbed and roll-to-roll technology would be highly beneficial.

As this is a remote-based position, flexibility to stay away from home for longer installations is essential.

This opportunity would also suit a technically strong, hands-on large format operator looking to transition into an engineering role within a reputable and supportive business.

The Role

• Installation and commissioning of large format printers and digital cutting tables
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown response
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Delivering high levels of customer service on site
• Working away from home when required

About You

• Experience with large format print equipment and/or digital cutting tables
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Professional and customer-focused
• Full UK driving licence
