Job Description:
CTP Pre-Press Field Service Engineer
Leeds, West Yorkshire (Field-Based with regional, national, and occasional overseas travel)
Up to £36,000 Company Vehicle Benefits Overtime
A long-established and highly regarded provider of print technology solutions is seeking an experienced CTP Engineer to join its expanding service team.
With over 30 years in the industry, the company has built an outstanding reputation supporting some of the print sector’s most recognised brands.
This is a field-based role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of CTP (Computer-to-Plate) systems and associated pre-press equipment.
You will work across a range of leading manufacturers including Kodak, Agfa, Fujifilm, and Screen, so previous exposure to thermal and violet CTP devices, processors and workflow systems would be highly beneficial.
As this is a remote-based position, flexibility to stay away from home for longer installations is essential.
This opportunity would also suit a technically strong pre-press technician or print professional looking to transition into a field engineering role within a reputable and supportive business.
The Role
- Installation and commissioning of CTP systems and related pre-press equipment
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown response
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding
• Software configuration and workflow troubleshooting
• Delivering high levels of customer service on site
• Working away from home when required
About You
- Experience working with CTP systems and/or pre-press equipment
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Understanding of print workflow and plate production processes
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Professional, organised and customer-focused
• Full UK driving licence
What’s On Offer
- Basic salary up to £36,000 depending on experience
• Company vehicle
• Overtime opportunities
• Secure position within a growing, established business
• Clear long-term career prospects and supportive leadership
